Vox Hunt: Gotcha!

Comments

Hello EWQ, No major tricks today, it was nice and finnalt into April, How are you my lady?
I'm good! I've got a few deadlines out the way and the weather has finally cooled down. Unless nobody showing up for a meeting yesterday was supposed to be an April Fools' joke on me I don't think anyone played any major pranks in my analogue life. Or if they did they must have been sorely disappointed because I live in a vacuum-sealed bubble of complete obliviousness.
It was clever. So clever, in fact, that you forgot you wanted it to be true. ;)
I know! I initially held off posting about it because I thought if it was true a) I'd look like an even bigger fool, and b) I could jinx myself and somehow bringing the QotDs back from the dead.

Then I remembered that any decision or change Vox ever makes ends up sucking for me. So the likelihood of them getting rid of QotDs was outweighed by the likelihood that they were tormenting me even more, promising me my dream come true then snatching it away with a Nelson Muntz inspired 'Ha ha".

Clever, cruel, evil Vox.
I loved it! It made me laugh outright.
[this is good]
Once again I missed the whole thing. lol
I was thinking about posting a "farewell" blog..hmmm...maybe I still will (let's see how many actually go for it and everything that didn't read here already!)
I feel so stupid. I read your comment here and when you said about posting a 'farewell' blog I thought you meant a farewell to QotD, meaning that you'd been fooled by the Vox announcement as well.

I didn't twig that you were going to post a joke announcement telling people you were leaving Vox! So when I read it on your blog I was totally sucked in until I read the fine print at the end revealing it was an April Fools' day prank. You are even more evil than Vox! LOL.
Haha! I'll have to say that to warn people now. It's going in my profile.
Oh, it's ok. You aren't stupid, you just had one of those moments when things go woosh! over your head. Or in one eye and out the other?
